This collector toy is a very rare John Deere 4520 Tractor with Gun Metal Finish made by Ertly commemortating 94 years of the John Deere Columbus Branch. This special commemorative 4520 tractor was produced in a limited quantity of only 2,500 units. Adding to the rarity of this 1:16 scale tractor is that this is the first farm toy by Ertl plated in a GUN METAL FINISH. Each tractor is designated as a limited edition, has "1 of 2500" cast into the left side of the frame, and the script " JOHN DEERE COLUMBUS 1912-2006" on the top of the hood. The box has been custom specifically for this toy outlinging the history of the 4520 tractor and the history of John Deere Company, Columbus, Ohio. These tractors were ONLY available to the John Deere Columbus Branch employees, retirees, and a limited number of dealer on a first come, first serve basis, and sold out very quickly. This is a very rare and hard to find farm toy FOR THE SERIOUS COLLECTOR! Limited quantities available....
